The workshop will take place immediately following the EAGE 2027 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Amsterdam (31 May – 3 June 2027), facilitating participation for those attending both events.
LOCATION AND ACCOMMODATION
The workshop will be held at the Nové Hrady Castle. The Castle is located about 180 km south of Prague. Accommodation will be provided mostly in single rooms with private bathroom. All meals will be served at the Castle.REGISTRATION
Those interested in participation in the workshop are kindly requested to fill in the online registration form. The accommodation capacity of the Nové Hrady Castle is limited, therefore, early applications have a greater chance to be accepted.CONFERENCE FEE
The fee for a participant will be EUR 750 if received in full before January 31, 2027, EUR 850 thereafter. The fee includes the registration fee, full board and accommodation for 4 nights in the Castle (Monday dinner to Friday breakfast), social activities and conference materials. For an accompanying person, the same fee will apply. A limited number of partial grants to support student participation is available. Please contact the organisers. Bus transportation between Prague and the Nové Hrady Castle will be provided on Monday afternoon, 7 June 2027; and Friday morning, 11 June 2027. Detailed information will be available in the 3rd circular.PRESENTATION OF CONTRIBUTIONS
Oral and poster sessions will be organised. Contributed oral presentations will be 30 minutes long, comprising 20 minutes for the presentation followed by 10 minutes for discussion. In keeping with the APSLIM tradition, emphasis will be placed on discussion and exchange of ideas.Oral and poster presentations should be given in English; no simultaneous translation will be provided. A PC and projector will be available.
ABSTRACTS
Participants are kindly asked to send a one- or two-page abstract of their contribution to the contact e-mail address given below. PDF or PostScript file format is preferred. The title should be centred and in bold capital letters. On the next line, give the authors' names, with the speaker's name underlined. A 10-point font is recommended. Once you have submitted an abstract, you may use it as submitted or update it as you wish. The deadline for abstract submission is 28 February 2027.PUBLICATION OF MATERIALS FROM THE WORKSHOP
Selected papers presented at the workshop are planned for publication in a Special Issue of an internationally established journal. We propose Studia Geophysica et Geodaetica as the journal. The final selection of the journal will be agreed during the Workshop. The review process will be the same as for regular papers, with each contribution reviewed by two reviewers. Papers requiring further modifications after the second round of review will not be included in the Special Issue. The deadline for submitting papers will also be agreed during the Workshop.SOCIAL PROGRAMME
A tour of the Castle, a concert, a half-day excursion in the surroundings of the Castle (probably to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Český Krumlov), a barbecue garden party and other activities are planned.ACCOMPANYING PERSONS PROGRAMME
